Getting started

Before we can get Ottir running at your facility, you'll need a few things in place. We'll walk you through everything — but here's what to have ready.

• A Windows PC

  Ottir runs real-time AI inference locally, so it needs a modern Windows machine with a capable processor. We'll confirm specs with you during onboarding.

• At least one overhead camera

  A CCTV or IP camera with a clear, unobstructed top-down view of the pool. Side-angle cameras don't work — we need to see the water surface.

• Stable internet connection

  Used for remote configuration, updates, and dashboard access. Ottir processes video locally — your footage never leaves the building.

Getting started is a single form. We review every application manually — there's no automated sign-up flow.

   Apply for Early Access

   Fill out the form on the homepage — your name, facility name, and work email. That's it. Hit "Apply for Early Access."

   We review your application

   We look at every application ourselves and follow up within 48 hours. If it's a good fit, we'll set up a short call to confirm your setup.

3. 3

   You're in

   Once approved, we'll send you credentials and get setup scheduled. You don't need to install anything yourself.

We handle everything remotely. You don't need an IT team or technical knowledge — just a few minutes of your time.

   Remote access session

   We'll connect to your Windows PC remotely (with your permission) and install the Ottir software. Usually takes under 30 minutes.

   Camera configuration

   We configure Ottir to work with your specific camera setup — adjusting detection zones to match your pool layout.

3. 3

   Calibration run

   We run a short live test to make sure detection is working correctly. We'll tweak sensitivity and zones until it feels right.

4. 4

   Handoff

   We walk you through the dashboard, show you how alerts work, and give you a direct line to us for anything that comes up.
